Our Service Under Marpol
As the Port Reception Facility operators in all Nigerian Ports, our MARPOL services include vessel compliance inspections and collection of oily waste, noxious liquids, sewage and garbage from ships using our purpose-built marine barges and specialised tankers.
We operate a state-of-the-art Port Reception Facility equipped with cutting-edge technologies for the processing and treatment of the various categories of ship-generated waste in line with the MARPOL 73/78 regulations.
Tank Cleaning and Gas Freeing Services
We provide comprehensive cleaning solutions to remove residues, sludge, and contaminants from various types of tanks such as fuel tanks, ballast water tanks and freshwater tanks using powerful high pressure water jets (Gamma jet). We ensure that tanks are safe for entry by eliminating flammable and toxic gases.
Oily Water Pit Evacuation
We specialise in the removal of oily water from pits, sumps and other containment areas. The waste is adequately treated and disposed of in compliance with all relevant local and international regulations.
First Tier Oil Spill Response
Our team of internationally trained on-scene commanders and spill responders are equipped to rapidly manage oil spills at the initial stage to prevent further spread. We provide surveillance, assessment of spill sites and deployment of advanced oil spill response equipment such as booms, skimmers, absorbent materials etc. for the recovery of oil, clean-up and restoration of the affected area.
Slops Collection from Tank Farms
In addition to our tank cleaning service, African Circle Pollution Management Limited offers services that remove residual mixtures generated from tank cleaning operations on oil tankers and similar vessels.
